When Wynonna Judd started her solo career, she experienced instant success, with her first three singles consecutively reaching the number one spot on the charts. The third single in that sequence was “No One Else on Earth,” which Judd released in August 1992.

After climbing up the charts for a while, the song reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart on October 24, a position that it held for four weeks in a row.

All of these years later, and the song is still a big hit with Judd’s fans. It means a great deal to Judd as well, which is why she decided to include it in a Grand Ole Opry set that was recorded for a live album.

That live album became 2005’s Her Story: Scenes from a Lifetime. In addition to being recorded for the album, the Opry show was also filmed for a DVD. That DVD was later released, and showed Judd being as sassy as ever while she sang “No One Else On Earth.”

Judd actually referenced her sassiness in her introduction to the song. Looking directly at the crowd with a confident smile on her face, Judd said, “As time went on, the more you listened, the sassier I got, and this next song pushed me over the edge. I like it there.

The crowd exploded into a fit of cheers once they realized what Judd was singing. A few notes in and almost everyone in attendance jumped to their feet, already offering Judd the standing ovation she rightfully deserved.
