Horror fanatics rejoice! The gas station from the original 1974 “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” will be your new favorite vacation spot. Located directly off Highway 304 in Bastrop, Texas, the infamous gas station where Leatherface chose as the perfect location to carve up his victims, is now open as a quaint vacation resort.

According to its Facebook page, the iconic building opened Oct. 8 as “The Gas Station” where you can be greeted by the actor who played the hitchhiker, Ed Neal, in the original film. Several cabins are located on the grounds where Texas Chainsaw superfans can stay the night (if they dare). The cabins feature large flatscreen TVs and are stocked with horror films to maximize your frights for the night.

In addition to staying the night, the horror-resort also has a barbecue smokehouse on site complete with it’s ominous name, “We Slaughter Barbecue” inscribed on a wooden plack outside. The resort also has horror film memorabilia available for purchase to help you remember your stay.

So what do you think? Are you brave enough to stay the night? Let us know in the comments!
