You’re Definitely Going To Want To Live At Jimmy Buffett’s Retirement Community

Parrotheads “55 and better” are getting their own community, thanks to their favorite singer, Jimmy Buffett! Called Latitude Margaritaville, the resort-like community is marketed as, “island-inspired living as you grow older, but not up.“
Two Latitude Margaritaville locations are currently being built in Daytona Beach, Florida and Hilton Head, South Carolina, with Daytona Beach’s sales center opening Fall 2017, and furnished homes being ready in early 2018.
According to Latitude Margaritaville’s website, each location will have “exciting recreation, unmatched dining, and FINtastic nightlife.”
We don’t think it was his intention, but Buffett created a lifestyle when he released his now classic song “Margaritaville” in 1977. Since then, Buffett created Radio Margaritaville – a Sirius XM channel, Tales from Margaritaville – a collection of short stories, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville – a restaurant chain, Margaritaville margarita mix and tequila, Margaritaville furniture, footwear, apparel, and so much more.
Now, some people are going to be able to fulfill their dreams and fully embrace Buffett’s laid-back lifestyle at these new retirement communities. For more information, check out their website here.
