As a country singer, you know you’ve really made it when people start choreographing line dances to your songs. Trace Adkins is no stranger to this, as people have been kicking up their heels to his songs for years.
In years past, the go-to song for any of Adkins’ fans to dance to was his 2010 hit “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” But now, a new song of his has come to play in the line dancing game, and it’s really heating things up.
That song is “Lit,” which is one of the tracks on Adkins’ latest album, Something’s Going On. Written by Tommy Lee James and Josh Osborne, “Lit” was released as one of the first songs off of the album, long before it ever had a title or a debut date.
The song caught on fast with Adkins’ fans, especially those who love line dancing. Now, you can find dozens of “Lit” line dance routines on YouTube to dance along to in the comfort of your own home.
If you’d like to get your boots stompin’ to a “Lit” line dance, then we’ve got the perfect one for you! This particular line dance was choreographed by Rob Fowler in July 2017, and is considered to be a beginner level routine. That means that you can pick it up even if you have no previous line dancing experience!
Although it may be easy, this routine will definitely keep you moving. All of the claps, kicks, turns, and scuffs will have you working your entire body as you groove to the sound of Adkins’ hot hit.
The entire routine gets broken down at the end of the video, giving you more detailed instruction. There’s no excuse for not attempting this dance!
