Prior to the release of “The Fighter” as a single, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman nearly broke the internet when they uploaded their Carpool Karaoke to the tune of the country singer’s infectious duet featuring Carrie Underwood. With 70 million views and counting on Facebook alone, it’s no wonder anybody and everyone is dying to try their hand at a cover.

A young couple by the names of Shane Anja Tarun and David DiMuzio transformed the powerful country hit into a fun acoustic pop song. Ukulele in hand, DiMuzio kicks off the duet singing Urban’s portion before Tarun jumps in at Underwood’s portion of the song in the chorus.

“The Fighter” was released as the fifth single off Urban’s critically acclaimed album Ripcord, receiving staggering attention from the world of country music prior to even being released as a single, with downloads exceeding 25,000 in the first week following the album’s release.

“It was a very quick song to write because I literally just thought about Nic and I, and our relationship at the beginning and some of the things that we’d said,” Urban shared with PEOPLE regarding the inspiration behind his hit song. “And they all went into that song.”
