Young Girl With Angelic Voice Delivers Bone-Chilling ‘Hallelujah’

If there is any string of lyrics sure to ignite emotion within the heart of a listener, the chilling words of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” is at the top of the list. Surely on her way to becoming a household name, a talented young singer goes viral following her haunting delivery of Cohen’s iconic ballad.

Competing in Southern Starr 4 Talent Competition, a young girl by the name of Julia stole the show with a bone-chilling delivery of Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” While she may be young, Julia channels the necessary emotion to do the song justice.

Young Julia’s rendition of the ’80s classic was enough to garner her a third place win in the talent competition. Even though she has many years ahead of her, the talented young singer is in hot pursuit of her star-studded dreams.

The legendary Cohen wrote “Hallelujah” back in 1984 at one of the lowest points in his life, the song going on to become a career-defining ballad. Years later, singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley recreated the song and skyrocketed it back into fame.
