Young Trio Moves Audience To Tears with Chilling ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ Performance

Before making it to the live shows on The Voice Kids UK, the young singers must make it past the grueling Battle Round. Unlike the U.S. version of the show, the kids are split into trios to show off to their coach why they should continue on into the competition.

This particular battle was for two spots on singer-songwriter Pixie Lott’s team. Young teenagers Riccardo, Tabi, and Erin performed the Judy Garland classic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and completely blew everyone in the audience away.

Erin started the song off with her heavenly soprano voice, while Riccardo impressed everyone with his incredible vocal runs. When it was Tabi’s turn to sing the lead, she took a step forward to separate herself from the rest physically and vocally.

They came together in unison for an extremely powerful moment of the song that had audience members, and their coach, wiping away tears.

By the end of the song, they earned themselves a standing ovation from fellow coach, Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am. Watch their chilling performance of the classic song below.
