A young boy by the name of Leo Ristorto blew away the difficult to crack judges on The Voice Kids France with his breathtaking performance of Whitney Houston’s version of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.” At age 13, Ristorto performs the difficult ballad with expert skill many singers can simply aspire to.

While the song has been covered a multitude of times it is seldom sang by male artists due to the extreme high notes the song demands. The young singer became overcome with emotion shortly after his performance that won him the coach-ship of Voice judge Louis Bertignac. Leo went on to win first runner up that season and continues pursuing his star-studded dreams.

“I Will Always Love You” was written by Parton in 1973 as a farewell to longtime writing partner and mentor Portor Wagoner. The original charted at No.1 and again in 1992 when covered by R&B singer Whitney Houston whose version went on to win two Grammys for “Record of the Year” and “Best Female Vocal Performance.”
