Talented young woman gives Chris Stapleton a run for his money with a silky cover of “Tennessee Whiskey.”
Ever since Stapleton enlisted international pop sensation Justin Timberlake for a jaw-dropping duet of George Jones‘ country classic at the 2015 CMA Awards, the internet has flooded with covers of the soulful tune. However in the sea of covers, Sophia Scott may just have put the rest to shame with her intoxicating take on the song.
The 26-year-old with the melodic voice perfectly executed her cover of the song, showcasing her unreal vocals. In addition to her soulful voice, the young artist flawlessly played the acoustic guitar throughout her delivery of the song.
Scott is a Los Angeles based country/R&B singer currently pursuing dream of making music “that can speak to other people the way it has for [her].”
