Known for his hilarious stories (and attempts at singing) – The Bobby Bones Show‘s Lunchbox has already proven that he is a great radio personality – but how is he doing as a new father?

Not bad, actually. His son was born July 17, 2018 – six weeks earlier than expected. Little Baby Box spent his firsts two weeks in the NICU, but that didn’t stop dad from getting excited. He posted to Twitter “I am a DAD!!!!!!! #BabyBox.”

Things were a little hectic at first. As they settled down, Lunchbox finally got some time to announce the baby’s birth weight to the Bobby Bones’ Show on July 20th.  He excitedly told his co-hosts, “Oh, Baby Box comes out like a beast! Six weeks early, he’s gonna be small? Sh… nah, yeah right! Not Baby Box.” He proudly let listeners know that even as a premature birth – his son had come out at 5 lbs 11 oz and was already putting on weight.

As his fatherhood duties increased – Lunchbox did not hold back with how real being a parent can be. From fights with his wife over being woken up by Baby Box in the middle of the night…

Lunchbox is being fully initiated into parenthood!

And while he was being initiated, co-hosts and fans were patiently waiting for photos of the little guy! Now, 6 weeks after Baby Box was born – his radio family has released adorable pictures of the newborn.

It seems only fitting that these images were released on the expected due date, August 29. I think it is safe to say that spunky Baby Box takes after his father already. We are so excited for the Lunchbox, his wife, and the Bobby Bones team!
