Bunnie Xo Gets A Facelift And Filler Removal
Author, podcast host, and wife of country star Jelly Roll, Bunnie Xo, is keeping it real with fans when it comes to her appearance. On March 15th, she underwent a dramatic facelift surgery done by Beverly Hills based plastuc surgeon, Daniel J Gould.
Bunnie first shared her plans to have the procedure during an episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast on March 13th. She asked fans for support and prayers in advance and confirmed that she planned to continue recording new podcast episodes during her recovery.
As her podcast is filmed on video, she simultaneously warned and assured her fans:
“I’m going to be bruised. It’s going to be a little weird. Don’t freak out. My doctor is really f—ing good, so everything’s going to go great.”
Additionally, Bunnie Xo had her dermal fillers removed during surgery after many failed attempts to have them dissolved. She explained that an ultrasound showed a large amount of filler still left in her face despite the procedures, and surgery was necessary to fully remove it. She shared:
“It would be itchy, it would cause swelling in my cheeks & it continued to migrate to other places. Please take it from me, filler doesn’t dissolve in your body like we are told.”

As promised, Bunnie Xo has shared multiple videos of her surgery process and recovery. In a vlog-style video from surgery day, she admits she is nervous about what would be a six-hour surgery. She took her followers through the whole pre-op routine.
Following the surgery, the 46-year-old shared an unfiltered look behind the scenes of her recovery. The video began with the disclaimer: Graphic Images For Educational Purposes.
In it, she can be seen heavily bruised and swollen, with bandages wrapped around her face. She admits that waking up from surgery was the “roughest wakeup she has ever had.”

Dr. Gould Explains Goals Of The Surgery, Shares Results
After completing Bunnie’s operation, Dr. Gould shared a video online describing the desired outcomes of the facelift. He explains how the aim was to:
- Improve heaviness and laxity in the neck
- Improve the position of the cheek
- Add volume where it has been lost
- “Clean up” the skin in the upper eyelids
Gould emphasizes that no one needs plastic surgery and that it is entirely elective based on personal preference. Additionally, he shared a side-by-side image of Bunnie’s on-table results. He shared:
“We’re not trying to make her look like a different person. We’re actually giving her her 20-year-old jawline back.”
