Author: Amanda Tubbs
Amanda Tubbs was born and raised in the small mountain town of Lake Arrowhead, California, but spent a decade in San Diego after attending San Diego State University where she studied Communication and Marketing. In 2022, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, and is thrilled to call it home after planning the move for years. Her favorite thing about living in Nashville is the endless access to quality live music and up-and-coming artists.
A love for country music was ingrained in Amanda from a young age as some of her earliest memories are of her grandparents – decked out in pearl snaps and Stetsons – playing classic country music on their guitars in their living room. She was surrounded by music throughout her childhood as all of her immediate family members played an instrument (or two) and Amanda grew up singing in church.
Some of Amanda’s favorite artists are Cody Johnson, Brooks and Dunn, Riley Green, and Ella Langley. Amanda always says she’s a “sucker for a good story” and loves going to writers rounds in Nashville to hear the stories behind the songs that we hear on the radio directly from the songwriter’s perspective.
Amanda’s professional career began in the event coordination space before transitioning into all things content: copywriting, editorial, and social media. Prior to joining the Country Rebel team, she worked with various brands in the retail, art, motorsports, and non-profit sectors.
As an avid country dancer, Amanda has had the opportunity to dance at music festivals around the country and has been a part of various video productions. Away from work, you can find Amanda exploring Tennessee with her Goldendoodle Milly, breaking a sweat at her favorite gym, catching a live show, and of course, spinning around the dance floor.
