FOX 55/27 Illinois shared a video on Facebook of a woman sticking her hand out of a moving vehicle to pet what appears to be a wild elk.

The caption above the video said that it happened in Canada and the woman, according to a name at the bottom corner of the video, was the beautiful and talented Canadian-Ukrainian singer Mira Solovianeko.

It’s unclear if she was riding on private property and the elk was a pet or if she was back-road riding through the wilderness, but either way, she showed no fear of the 700-pound elk. And respectively, the elk didn’t mind letting Mira pet him.

The video starts off showing a snow-covered road with the elk standing in the middle of it. As the vehicle pulls up, Mira graciously sticks her hand out of the window towards the animal. Potentially thinking she might have a treat for him, he curiously walks up to the window to investigate.

The driver stops the vehicle while she briefly pets him but once he realizes there’s no snack, he turns away from her. They continue driving down the road only to run into another elk and she sticks out here hand again to pet that one.
