Carly Pearce is standing firm on her decision to remove a heckler who disrupted her recent show.

Carly Pearce showed her fierce side during her recent set at WE Fest in Minnesota after an audience member shouted rude comments at the singer.

As Carly began to share a personal story with the audience, a voice from the crowd interrupted by yelling, “No one cares!” That was the moment that, as Carly describes it, her “Kentucky came out full-force.”

She immediately called for security to remove the heckler from her show.

“Out! Somebody get him out of here! I do not want him at my show…If you’re going to be an a**hole, then you’re going to have to say it to me and get the f*** out of my show.”

Afterward, the crowd erupted in cheers as security escorted the individual away, and Carly didn’t hold back, adding:

“I do not have time for di***! See you later!”

The singer later reflected on the incident, revealing it was the first time she had ever kicked someone out of her concert.

“If somebody’s going to be that mean and disrespect me, you are not welcome,” she asserted.

In a follow-up interview with Ashley Morrison from Tampa’s U.S. 103.5, Carly shared her thoughts on the backlash and the double standards often faced by female artists.

“I guess people are learning a new side of me, but the boys do it all the time. It’s no different,” she pointed out.

Carly also defended her original decision to kick the heckler out. She said that a lot of haters believe they won’t be “reprimanded for their actions.”

Additionally, she acknowledged during the interview that she is “so tired of being afraid of standing up for [herself].” With that, the sweet country star sent a powerful message to her fans: have self-respect and don’t tolerate disrespect.

Good for her!
