Fans Go Wild After Carly Pearce & Riley Green Tease Steamy Collab Following His Alleged Relationship Drama
on Feb 26, 2026

Carly Pearce’s latest Instagram post has fans doing a double-take.
On Thursday, February 26, Carly Pearce shared a video on her social media that quickly got fans going crazy. The clip, which appears to tease an unreleased song, starts with Carly sitting beside a mystery man, who’s tucking her hair behind her ear.
It doesn’t take long before the man’s identity is revealed… and let’s just say, we didn’t see that one coming!
It turns out to be none other than country heartthrob Riley Green.
“baby isn’t doing this the definition of insane,” she captioned the post, which is the first lyric we hear from the upcoming track.
You can also hear Green’s vocals in the video’s audio, confirming it’ll be a collaboration between the two country stars.
We don’t know much about this new song just yet.
Pearce actually started teasing it two days ago, when she shared a photo of herself in a lacy gown on the set of its music video, though at the time, fans had no idea what was coming.
A day later, she shared some very steamy behind-the-scenes footage, keeping her and Green’s faces out of the shot.
She also seems to have removed every other post from her Instagram page except those promoting this new collab, so it’s safe to say this is going to be a major release.
Carly Pearce and Riley Green’s extremely romantic collaboration comes shortly after Green was caught in some alleged relationship drama.
Earlier this week, Green made headlines after posting a video of himself singing a song that fans are convinced was a response to Megan Moroney’s recently released track “Who Hurt You?”
For months, rumors have swirled that Green and Moroney were romantically linked at some point. Not long after, speculation grew that there might have been a love triangle involving Green, Moroney, and fellow country star Ella Langley. None of this has been confirmed, however.
Still, fans have run with every hint, including drawing connections to Moroney’s new song, which appears on her latest album release, Cloud 9.
The lyrics call out a boy from Alabama, which is where Green is from.

The alleged drama didn’t stop there. Hours later, Green dropped a song that many believe is a response to Moroney.
The track is titled “POS Like Me.” A few of the lyrics go:
“Drink a little cold beer / every hunting season I disappear / You hated my dog I guess you hated my songs / hell you hated it way out here / One day you’re gonna try / but you ain’t never gonna find another low down / no good / rusted truck-drivin’ /Waffle House-eatin’ / overall-wearing piece of sh-t like me.”
