Carrie Underwood Posts Photos From Family Vacation To Dollywood

Dolly Parton‘s Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is a go-to vacation destination for families. In fact, earlier this year the park was named the #1 theme park in the U.S. by Tripadvisor.

“I’m so proud of the work my people do to make Dollywood such a great place for families,” Parton said in a statement you can read on her official website. “When I started dreaming up Dollywood all those years ago, I hoped it would be somewhere folks were excited to come visit and enjoy time together. To hear that they are leaving so many positive comments about their time here really shows what we’re doing is working. In the current world, I want Dollywood to be a place where the light shines every day.”

Millions of people visit Dollywood and its associated water park each year. The park is so popular, it even draws in celebrity attendees…including Carrie Underwood!

Twitter user Sierra Peak shared some photos of Carrie in Dollywood on July 19. The first photo shows Carrie waiting in line for a ride, while the second photo shows her pausing to take a picture with a group of young fans.

A few days later, Carrie shared her own photos from her Dollywood vacation. She revealed that she and her husband, Mike Fisher, “spent a few days” in the park with their two sons, Isaiah and Jacob.

The photos Carrie shared show some of Dollywood’s scenery and rides. You can see her sons and Mike in a couple of the photos and a video. Carrie and Mike also snapped a photo together in front of a Dollywood sign.

Carrie said they had “an amazing experience” in the park. She vowed to come back again one day:

“We didn’t know what to expect, but our time there was beyond amazing!” she said. “Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the kiddos had a blast riding all the rides! I think this is going to become an annual thing for the Fisher clan! Thanks #Dollywood for the fun times and the memories! We’ll see you again soon!“
