It was a sight for the ages: fans loved seeing Chris Stapleton and George Strait join forces to cover “You Wreck Me by Tom Petty on stage. While Stapleton wasn’t the only celebrity crooner Strait called into his Kansas City show, the pair’s duet was one of the most memorable events of the night.

Strait took the lead, while Stapleton followed by joining in on the chorus. Together, the two created an unforgettable moment in music history. Both singers played the guitar along with the song, and Stapleton provided his well-known country-rock twang as the song went on.
