Clint Eastwood’s Longtime Partner, Christina Sandera, Has Died
on Jul 19, 2024
Christina Sandera, the longtime partner of actor/director Clint Eastwood, sadly passed away at the age of 61.
She and Eastwood had been together since 2014, keeping their relationship relatively private. Little is known about Sandera beyond her connection to Eastwood, and she had no social media presence.
Sandera did attend a few high-profile events with Eastwood, including the premiere of his 2018 film The Mule.
“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” Eastwood, 94, said in a statement to The Carmel Pine Cone publication on Thursday, July 18.
No cause of death has been given at this time.
In June 2014, Us Weekly revealed that Eastwood was dating Sandera, a former worker at his Mission Ranch hotel and restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The Mission Ranch restaurant is located on the Monterey peninsula, where Eastwood lived for decades. He also formerly served as the mayor of Carmel after being elected in 1986.
Sandera’s death was reported a month after Eastwood’s daughter Morgan, 27, married Tanner Koopmans at Mission Ranch. The couple is also expecting their first child, which will be Eastwood’s fifth grandchild.
