CMA Honors Music Video of the Year
The Music Video of the Year award first originated at the 1985 Country Music Association Awards. The category honors excellence in country music videos that have been released during the year and is awarded to both the artist and the director.
Brad Paisley holds the record for the most wins in the CMA Award for Music Video of the Year category, with four victories. Alan Jackson, a two-time winner, leads all artists with twelve nominations in the category.
In 2024, Lainey Wilson and Patrick Tracy took home the award for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.“

This Year’s Music Video Of The Year Winner Is…
The Music Video of the Year Award is traditionally presented in the morning before the CMA Awards‘ main ceremony. Such was the case again this year! The winner was announced in the early morning hours on GMA.
The winner of the 2025 CMA Award for Music video of the Year is…Ella Langley and Riley Green, for “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Langley and Green released their collaborative music video in August 2024. It has since generated over 56 million views on YouTube alone.
Set in a Wild West saloon, the clip stars Langley, Green, country music legend Jamey Johnson, and Green’s famous (and adorable) corgi, Carl.
