The 32-year-old Texas native brought his own brand of traditional country music to a whole new video that just debuted on YouTube earlier today (January, 23rd, 2020).

With a full-featured acoustic setup backing him, Cody Johnson sat front-and-center with his signature guitar for this stripped-down take on his most recent single, “Nothin’ On You.”

This track is a song that truly bares it all with lyrics like:

“‘Cause when you got nothin’ on
There ain’t nothin’ wrong
Lovin’ you all night long’s all I wanna do”

The sultry ballad is the story of a man telling his lover how good she looks regardless of how much (or how little) she’s wearing.

Taking his popular single and reworking it as an acoustic performance truly highlights his artistry and talent as a musician – all the while showcasing his vocal strength.
