Are Beth And Rip Getting A Spin-Off After Yellowstone Ends?

Yellowstone fans hoping for a Beth and Rip spin-off will be pleased to hear that Cole Hauser supports the idea.

After an extended hiatus, Yellowstone returns with a new episode on Sunday (November 10). This episode will kick off the second half of the show’s fifth season.

It’ll be interesting to see how things play out, as series lead Kevin Costner confirmed he was not involved in filming the new episodes.

Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton, said it was “a miracle” they were able to continue the show without Costner. He feels fans will be “very, very happy” with how Yellowstone handles its upcoming episodes.

While some people connected to Yellowstone have made it seem like Season 5 will be its last, there have been reports that the show will get a sixth season.

Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox joined the cast of a modern-day spin-off series titled The Madison. But Yellowstone fans hope another spin-off may be in the works too.

Cole Hauser Addresses Future Plans For Beth And Rip

Back in May, Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, seemed to hint at a potential spin-off following his character and Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly). He said:

“…I know that there’s some stuff on the horizon when it comes to [Yellowstone creator] Taylor [Sheridan’s] ideas for Kelly Reilly and myself and some of the other cast. I’m excited to see where he goes creatively with that but right now it’s just, let’s finish strong; let’s do the best we can.”

During a more recent interview with CBS Mornings, Hauser made it clear he’s totally on board with the idea of a Yellowstone spin-off centered on Beth and Rip.

“I’m all for it,” he said. “What would it look like? It would be a pretty amazing show. I think it’s a lot of fireworks. I mean, look, with Taylor’s writing, anything is possible, and, you know, if that’s the direction he decides to go, I mean, I’m all for it, and I know Kelly would be too.”

Based on how much Yellowstone viewers love Beth and Rip, we have a feeling they’d also be fans of a spin-off about them! Would you watch such a show?
