What We Know So Far About The Beth And Rip Spin-Off Dutton Ranch

Yellowstone fans were already anticipating the upcoming spin-off Dutton Ranch, but a recent post from Cole Hauser just made everyone even more eager!

Dutton Ranch (previously known as The Dutton Ranch) will center on Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser). The show will follow the couple as they settle into their new life in Texas. Of course, knowing Beth and Rip, their lives will be anything but truly “settled.”

According to Variety, the series’ official logline reads:

Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are grateful for the peace they sought, fought, and nearly died for with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter [played by Finn Little] becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”

We learned a little more about the show when Yellowstone producer David Glasser spoke about it at the premiere for Marshals (another Yellowstone spin-off that follows Kayce Dutton).

Glasser told Entertainment Tonight that Dutton Ranch explores Beth and Rip’s relationship and presents a more mature side to the couple. However, Glasser wanted to reassure fans that the series will still feature that iconic Yellowstone drama.

Just when you think we can’t turn it up a notch, we do,” he said.

Cole Hauser Drives Fans Wild By Sharing The 1st Official Poster For Dutton Ranch

Although we’ve known about Dutton Ranch for over a year at this point, updates have been few and far between. But then, in early March, a mysterious new post about the series left fans buzzing with excitement.

The post featured an image of cattle huddled together in a dark field. Funnily, the image was shared on the page for the since-concluded Yellowstone prequel series, 1923.

The caption announced that the page would be changing its name from 1923 to Dutton Ranch. Now, the page is dedicated to the new series.

Shortly after that, the Dutton Ranch page started sharing more teaser images with simple captions: “NEW BRAND,” “NEW LAND,” “SAME STAND.”

The teasers culminated on Friday (March 13), when the show dropped its first official poster. The image showcases the new “DR” brand for Dutton Ranch, and hypes up the fact that the show is “coming soon” to Paramount+.

“Texas you’re on notice. Beth and Rip are coming,” the show proclaimed.

Cole Hauser, who plays Rip, shared the poster on his Instagram page as well, writing, “Here… We… Go.” Needless to say, his fans went wild over the sight of that single image.

One follower wrote, “So excited!! So ready!! Let’s go!!”

Another fan said, “Cannot wait! So excited to see Rip and Beth again.”

“Saddle up, check your tack, let’s ride,” one fan commented.

Someone else wrote, “LETS F****** GOOO YASSSS.”

“Best of luck Rip, this world needs more cowboys,” commented one follower.

Another person perfectly summed up our thoughts when they wrote, “Define coming soon.”
