Cole Swindell Pens Emotional Song Inspired By Charlie Kirk’s Quote
The killing of conservative spokesperson Charlie Kirk on September 10 has had a profound impact on the country music community. Many artists shared tributes online, dedicated songs during live performances, or attended his celebration of life.
Country artist Cole Swindell was so inspired by Charlie Kirk’s legacy that he penned a new song inspired by the late entrepreneur. Titled “Make Heaven Crowded,” the lyrics were derived from Kirk’s mission to spread his faith.

When Cole began teasing the track across social media, fans immediately responded, urging the musician to release the full version of the track. He later reflected that it was the strongest initial response that he had ever received for a song.
As a result, “Make Heaven Crowded” by Cole Swindell was released on all platforms on September 26. Along with it, he shared a heartfelt message of gratitude:
“This is possibly the most important song I’ll ever write and be a part of. I’m so fortunate to have this platform and if this message helps one person, it was worth writing it.”

Following its release, “Make Heaven Crowded” ascended to the Billboard all-genre chart, landing in the number-two spot. Cole reacted to the news, saying that it was “bigger than anything I’ve been a part of musically.” He added that the response to the song makes him feel “hopeful” that we can “do better” as a society.

Tuesday, October 14, would have been Charlie Kirk’s 32nd birthday. In his honor, Cole Swindell performed his inspirational song on Fox & Friends, a daily morning talk show that airs on Fox News.
The singer said he was “honored” to be playing the song on “such a special day.”
