Colt Ford Thanks Fans Following Terrifying Bus Crash

Country Singer Colt Ford Involved In Terrifying Bus Crash

Last month, country music singer Colt Ford was injured after his tour bus crashed. The accident left him with a broken shoulder, requiring first responders to pull him from the vehicle through the shattered windshield.

Several members of his crew were also injured in the crash, though Ford later assured fans that everyone was okay.

Ford shared a photo of the badly damaged bus on social media, showing the vehicle off the side of the road with significant damage to the front and passenger side.

The accident occurred as Ford was preparing to travel to Germany for an upcoming performance. Despite the frightening incident, the singer appeared to remain positive, reassuring fans that his crew was “a little banged up” but that they were all still here.

The singer and songwriter is most well-known for his hit “Dirt Road Anthem,” which was later recorded by Jason Aldean and became a major hit. Ford has also collaborated with multiple other artists including Keith Urban, Brantley Gilbert, Jamey Johnson and Chase Rice.

In recent years, Ford has faced significant health challenges. In April 2024, he suffered a near-fatal heart attack following a performance in Arizona and spent months recovering. He eventually returned to performing and continued working on music.

Colt Ford Shares Update One Month After Crash

Just days after the incident, Ford’s team was happy to report that the country singer successfully underwent shoulder surgery, which went well.

On Monday (September 14), Ford shared a personal video update for the first time since the crash. The country singer thanked fans for all of their love and support, explaining that he was unfortunately hurt more than everyone realized.

Ford said that as of now he has been forced to cancel the rest of his shows for the year, but promised fans he would be back in 2027. In the meantime, he shared that he’s preparing to release new music he’s been working on.

“I’ll see y’all next year. I love y’all. God bless,” Ford said.
