Country Singer Reveals Wife Is Battling Stage 3 Cancer

For some time now, country singer Coffey Anderson’s wife Criscilla has been battling a mystery illness. For four days, she couldn’t eat any solid foods, and couldn’t hold down liquids that well. The singer posted a photo of him holding her hand in a hospital bed on June 12, revealing that doctors performed a procedure that helped with her discomfort and pain, but that she would need a second surgery to remove a mass.

That surgery went well, and Coffey took to Instagram once again to thank his fans for their prayers. “She’s in recovery right now,” he wrote. “Thank you for all the prayers and flowers.

The surgery, as we found out later, was pretty extensive. Doctors removed two feet of her colon, and she now requires a colostomy bag while she heals. After all of this, Criscilla was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. A friend set up a GoFundMe account to help with expenses and to provide updates on Criscilla.

Coffey has been and will be by her side through the entire process, including doctors appointments, and the six months of chemotherapy she will need. He once again posted a photo on Instagram of him holding her hand during an appointment.

Criscilla is a professional dancer, so she will not be able to work for a while, and Coffey is doing everything he can as a country singer to provide for his family during this difficult time, which is why their friend set up the GoFundMe for them.

The couple are parents to three children, Ethan, Emmarie, and Everleigh.

Happy Mother’s Day to all from my family to yours. #mothersday #mothersdayweekend
