A couple from Stockton, California recently learned the hard way that when testing out dog crates, it’s best to only have one person do the testing.

In a viral video, the couple can be seen getting into the crates, one after the other, and closing the doors behind them. After a few seconds, the couple realized they were both locked in the crates and unable to get out.

They quickly discovered that they needed to maneuver the crates in front of one another in order to open them up and free themselves.

The couple, Stephanie and her man, stated that if they had not been able to free themselves, they would have had to rely on their smart home assistant, Alexa, to call their neighbors for help.

They also added that the experience was a valuable lesson for them and that they will be more careful in the future when testing out new items.

This incident is a reminder that it’s important to always be aware of our surroundings and to take necessary precautions, especially when testing out new products.

It’s also a good idea to have a plan in place for emergency situations, such as this one, so that you can quickly and efficiently handle any unexpected events that may occur.

The couple also joked that they will not be testing out any more dog crates and will stick to testing out other household items that don’t require them to lock themselves in.

This incident serves as a funny reminder to always be cautious and aware of your actions and to always have a plan B in case things don’t go as planned.

Stephanie posted the video on her TikTok on January 11 where it got more than 12 million views. Watch the video below.
