Talk about a close encounter!

This 5-year-old girl named Christine Przybylski was playing in her front yard in the Chicago suburbs of South Villa Park when she got the scare of a lifetime – and it was caught on camera.

A video captured on her family’s doorbell camera shows the little girl walking towards the tree swing in her front yard. You can see a coyote dash towards her and when she finally sees it, she runs towards the front porch.

As she ran away, the coyote chased her and got so close that she could “feel its fur brush against her,” according to WGN News.

“I decided to go to the swing,” Christine said. “When I went to the swing, he run [sic] by and I was like, going, and then I was like ‘Oh my god.'”

At the end of the video, she walks up her front porch steps, turns around, and looks as though she grabbed her heart and took a few deep breaths.

“I feeled [sic] its ear,” she said. “It almost bited [sic] my rib.”

The girl’s mom told NBC Chicago she was unharmed.

We can’t imagine going through this at any age, let alone at five years old! Watch her and her mom talk about the incident below.
