‘Dancing With The Stars’ Ends With Surprising Elimination
on Oct 21, 2025

The halfway point of Dancing With the Stars Season 34 has arrived, and brought with it another surprising elimination.
The theme of Week 6 of Dancing With the Stars paid homage to Wicked with plenty of pink and green to go around! Each of the stars and their professional partners danced to songs from the Broadway musical-turned-box office hit.
The lighthearted theme was a stark contrast to last week’s emotional Dedication Night. And unlike last week, when no one was sent home, one team was eliminated Tuesday night. At this stage of the competition, nearly every elimination is a surprise because each team deserves to stay.
The 10 teams still in the competition for Wicked Night were:
-Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles and pro Ezra Sosa
–Boy Meets World actress Danielle Fishel and pro Pasha Pashkov
-Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and pro Witney Carson
–Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt and pro Mark Ballas
-Television personality Dylan Efron and pro Daniella Karagach
-Social media personality Alix Earle and pro Val Chmerkovskiy
–Parent Trap actress Elaine Hendrix and pro Alan Bernsten
-Comedian Andy Richter and pro Emma Slater
–Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck and pro Jan Ravnik
-Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying and pro Rylee Arnold
The dancing journey came to an end for one celebrity and their professional partner.
After ten incredible dances and some of the season’s highest scores, it was time for someone’s Dancing With the Stars journey to end.

Tuesday’s scores were combined with last week’s scores and the public’s votes to determine who would be moving on and who was going home.
Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro took turns revealing who was safe.
The first to be named safe were Danielle and Pasha, Jordan and Ezra, Whitney and Mark, Alix and Val, Robert and Witney, Jen and Jan, Elaine and Alan.
The final three teams remaining and in danger of elimination were Andy Richter and Emma Slater, Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold, and Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach
The team eliminated was Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold.
The audience and other teams were clearly surprised by the result. Hoying has maintained a consistent presence on the scoreboard in recent weeks and showed improvement with every dance.
After learning his fate, Hoying shared his appreciation for being a part of the show, saying that being eliminated on Wicked Night was “a perfect way to go.”
Next week, see the remaining nine teams dance in a Halloween-themed show.
