Darius Rucker Buys Breakfast For Entire IHOP

It’s safe to say that Darius Rucker made the days of everyone dining at an IHOP on Sunday morning.

On Jan. 24th, the Grammy-award winner finished his breakfast and kindly asked that the restaurant to provide him with the check of every guest in the dining establishment. The country crooner then paid for everyone’s meals in the eatery and provided “very generous” tip for the servers.

Stephen Vitale, the general manager of the location, recalled the day’s circumstances to WCSC-TV in Charleston, South Carolina. The manager stated that the restaurant was completely full when Rucker requested the bundle of checks. Vitale also noted that few people inside the IHOP recognized Rucker due to his mask, but the gesture stirred a lot of excitement amongst the guests.

“We know him because he does come in quite often and we consider him a regular,” Vitale explained.

Vitale did not disclose the tip amount or total cost that Rucker paid at the IHOP, but he did note that it was a “good morning” at the eatery.
