When the trio who make up Chapel hart walked on the stage at the America’s Got Talent auditions, the judges knew they had something special. The energy the had, even before singing a single note, was incredibly contagious! Once they did start singing their original song titled “You Can Have Him Jolene,” they had the whole crowd cheering.

Chapel Hart auditioned after all four judges, and host Terry Crews, had already used their Golden Buzzers, but everyone thought this trio was so special that they deserved one as well. All five of them pushed the Golden Buzzer, sending Chapel Hart straight to the live shows.

Ultimately, Chapel hart went all the way to the finals and placed in the Top 5. But, just because they didn’t win, doesn’t mean their career is over. In fact, it’s just begun. Shortly after their AGT audition aired, they were invited to make their Grand Ole Opry debut, which they did on September 17th.

They again played the Grand Ole Opry on October 8th, where they paid tribute to the late Loretta Lynn with a cover of “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin'” and joined Vince Gill and the rest of the cast from that night in a rendition of “Go Rest High On That Mountain.” You can watch that performance below.

Fans have wondered when their first single post-AGT would be released, and we can rejoice because it’s already here! It is titled “Ol’ Church Hymn” and is a collaboration with Darius Rucker.

Rucker sings lead and the classic Chapel Hart harmonies can be heard in the background, a perfect addition for the song. Apparently this collaboration has been a year in the making. Rucker shared a screenshot of his Direct Message to Chapel Hart, inviting them on a song exactly one year ago.
