Days Of Our Lives Actor Dead At 62
Robert Kelker-Kelly, who was best known for his role as Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives, has died at the age of 62.
According to TMZ, the actor died on October 3, with his death confirmed by a Missouri medical examiner. Authorities found no indication of suspicious circumstances and said the scene appeared to point to a possible medical emergency, the outlet reports.
Kelker-Kelly was a longtime soap opera actor. He joined Days of Our Lives in 1992, taking over the role from Peter Reckell, and remained on the show until 1995.
Kelker-Kelly also appeared on several other popular daytime soaps throughout his career. He played Sam Fowler on Another World and later portrayed Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital. His work in daytime television earned him a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in 1994. Kelker-Kelly also worked as a professional pilot.
The actor was first married to Linda Rattner in 1988, but the couple divorced four years later in 1992. He later married his Days of Our Lives co-star Miriam Parrish, though their marriage also eventually ended in divorce.
Kelker-Kelly is survived by his daughter, Amelia Rose Kelly.
