Denny Hamlin’s Daughter Delivers Heartfelt National Anthem Performance

Denny Hamlin’s 13-year-old daughter, Taylor, is already showing off her impressive singing talent!

Performing at Denny’s home track in Richmond, Virginia, Taylor delivered a stunning rendition of the national anthem to kick off NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series race. The race was later postponed due to inclement weather.

Denny and his long-time partner and fiancée, Jordan, share three children, Taylor, Molly, and Jameson.

The NASCAR driver has always been outspoken about the importance of family. In recent years, Denny has even put his racing career on pause to be there for some of life’s biggest moments, including the births of his children.

This year, however, life looked much different for Denny and his family after they were struck by tragedy. Denny’s father, Dennis Hamlin, died at the age of 75 in a house fire on December 28, 2025.

Firefighters worked for nearly two hours to extinguish the fire, facing challenges due to a lack of water in the area. The fire department said the home has been deemed a “complete loss,” although firefighters managed to recover some collectibles and racing memorabilia from the house.

While his mother was also inside the home, she managed to escape alive.

Just three months after the tragedy, Taylor first debuted her incredible singing voice.

In a video shared by Jordon back in March, the young girl took center stage, wowing fans with a theatrical performance from The Little Mermaid.

Then, on Friday (August 14), Taylor stood in front of NASCAR fans to deliver a special performance of the national anthem.

Not only did Taylor represent the Hamlin family at her father’s home track, the 0.75-mile Richmond Raceway has honored Denny by reserving permanent seats for the family.

The Joe Gibbs Racing star is a five-time winner at Richmond and is the most recent driver to win from the pole, accomplishing the feat in 2016. He also made an impressive debut at the track, finishing runner-up in his first-ever Richmond race in 2006.

With her family watching from the stands, it was only fitting that Taylor kicked off the race with a beautiful rendition of the national anthem. Watch a clip of her performance below.
