Duane “Dog The Bounty Hunter” Chapman lost his wife Beth in 2019 and caught many by surprise when he began a relationship with Francie Frane. The two had initially bonded over their shared grief and an official relationship soon followed. Less than a year after Beth’s passing, Dog got down on one knee last May at a romantic dinner at their home in Colorado and popped the question.

Dog and Frane recently stopped by the Tamron Hall Show to talk about finding love and losing a spouse.
Dog went on to talk about his frustration while leaving the hospital after he underwent surgery. He pulled his car over and began praying and asking God for answers.
“I knew that Beth wasn’t sitting on the other side of the pearly gates waiting for me to get home. I knew that she was whooping it up with the angels and I thought, well if she’s up there with the angels…and I’m down here bawling every day.”
Frane added to Dog’s thought by saying:
“The people that we lose and our loved ones wouldn’t want us to stay in this place of darkness. They want us to be able to make a difference in the world -to move one.”
