Sam Williams, the grandson of Hank Williams Sr. and son of Hank Williams Jr., recently released his debut album, Glasshouse Children. The freshman record is much-anticipated by country fans young and old. One of the many sure-to-be hits on the recent release: Williams’ duet with country legend Dolly Parton, entitled “Happy All the Time.”

The touching ballad shows off the best of both Williams’ and Parton’s vocal talents and tells the story of a hopeless romantic searching for something beyond material possessions to fill a deep void.

When Williams debuted the single on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show, he said, “She has one of my favorite voices of absolutely all time and she can do so much with it. It’s just as strong now as it’s ever been.”

Williams went on to further praise Parton, expressing his gratitude that the legend was willing to work with a new, young artist.

“It’s just so awesome for country music, for the queen of everything, for a legend like that to embrace someone so new, a little bit left of center, it’s just amazing and I can’t believe it.”
