January 19th is a special day in country music – it’s the day the legendary Dolly Parton was born! In 2023, Parton turned 77 years young.

Happy Birthday wishes came flooding over social media

We’re sure she is also getting showered with presents, especially from her husband of 56 years, Carl Dean.

But on her 77th birthday, she is actually the on giving us a huge gift. In an announcement made on social media where she said, “I’m not gonna get I’m gonna give!”

She revealed her gift to the world was a brand-new song titled “Don’t Make Me Come Down There”

“It kinda came to me in a dream…I had a dream about God standing on a mountain lookin down on us saying, ‘Don’t make me come down there,’ and then it woke me up and I started writing this song,” Parton explained. “Over a period of months, I finished writing it as things would come to me andI jsut felt like I should drop it on my birthday, so I hope you enjoy it!”
