During An Outdoor Concert In Philadelphia Over The Weekend, The Crowd Witnessed A Rainbow Appear While Jelly Roll Sang “Hard Fought Hallelujah”

Jelly Roll is a man of great faith, because he knows just how far God has brought him in life!

While performing him and Brandon Lake’s Christian duet, Hard Fought Hallelujah, in Philadelphia over the weekend, Jelly pointed out to the crowd the double rainbow forming in the sky.

“You can’t tell me God ain’t here,” the singer said while raising his arms to the breathtaking rainbow.

The video panned across the sky while Jelly was singing to the most beautiful colors and a view that looked straight from heaven.

Jelly’s Belief In God’s Bigger Purpose For Him

Jelly has publicly stated he believes in Jesus Christ and that he knows there is a greater purpose for him here on this earth. He shared in an interview with Fox News that his incredibly successful career is proof of that.

“Faith was a lot of me believing it was going to work out for me,” Jelly said. “Could you imagine being a 37-year-old, unsuccessful musician when you told people that was your job?”

While the singer has gained insurmountable popularity over the past few years, his life wasn’t always filled with hope and happiness.

The superstar spent years in and out of incarceration and trying to make a name for himself in music, saying that although he could not see it, God’s plan was unfolding for him all along.

“It wasn’t like something I did on the side. Like, it was my job. And I just always had faith that God had a bigger purpose for what I was trying to do,” Jelly continued.

He said he hopes people who are hurting look to him as a reminder that no matter how broken you are, your past does not define your future.

“God never called the equipped. God always equipped the call,” he said. “I think that I am a living manifestation of that.”
