Another Baby Is Joining The Duck Dynasty Family
Duck Dynasty stars Jep and Jessica Robertson are celebrating some exciting news—they’re becoming grandparents again!
Earlier this year (2025), the Robertsons’ daughter, Lily, and her husband, Austin Stalbaum, welcomed their first child. Their son, Winston Ezelle Stalbaum, was born on February 4.
“we have been soaking up all the newborn snuggles and are excited to share more. here is just a few glimpses into what the past two-ish weeks has looked like,” Lily wrote when introducing her son to the world.
Now, Winston will soon have a little cousin to play with!
On Saturday (June 21), Jep and Jessica’s daughter, Merritt, announced that she and her husband, Tyler Metro, are expecting their first child in December.
The news comes just a little over a year after Merritt and Tyler married. The couple, who are high school sweethearts, said “I do” during “the most magical” ceremony.
Merritt and Tyler shared their pregnancy news alongside two photos that show them holding their baby’s sonograms. The Metros posed for their pictures on a multi-colored quilt with pops of pink and blue. Merritt wore a long pink dress, while Tyler wore a blue buttoned shirt.
“baby metro will be here this Christmas!!” Merritt wrote in the caption along with a pink heart emoji.
Jessica Robertson Celebrates The Upcoming Arrival Of Her Second Grandchild
Needless to say, Merritt’s family is thrilled! Jessica celebrated the upcoming arrival of her and Jep’s second grandchild in her own post. She also confirmed that Merritt and Tyler are expecting a baby girl.
“Over the moon to announce another grand baby on the way!!! Baby girl due December 2025!!” Jessica said.
Duck Dynasty fans were quick to congratulate Jep, Jessica, Merritt, and Tyler. The happy news comes in the midst of a sad time for the Robertson family, as they’re mourning the loss of their patriarch, Phil.
Phil Robertson passed away on May 25 at the age of 79. The man known as “The Duck Commander” struggled with his health in the last months of his life, following his diagnosis with Alzheimer’s Disease and a blood disorder.
Writing in tribute to Phil after his death, Jessica said:
“I don’t take for granted the family I’m so deeply grateful to be a part of. For 24 years, I’ve had the privilege of listening to and learning from both Phil and Kay—living testimonies of God’s love, grace, forgiveness, and redemption. These past few days have held some tears, but even more praise to our Creator for the man He made. I’m beyond grateful to call Phil my father-in-law, my brother in Christ, and forever family.”
While he is no longer with us, Phil’s legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Hopefully, Jep and Jessica find some sense of comfort in knowing their grandchild will play a part in helping carry on Phil’s legacy…
