Grand Ole Opry Member Dustin Lynch Drops Brand-New Summertime Song, “Easy To Love”

Dustin Lynch is kicking off the summer season by releasing an upbeat and breezy new song, “Easy To Love.”

The Tennessee native already has ten chart-topping songs under his belt. Those include “Thinking ‘Bout You,” “Good Girl,” “Where It’s At,” and “Small Town Boy.” In addition, Lynch has four Top 5 albums, and his music has generated over six billion cumulative global streams.

Lynch’s success and standing in the country music community led to his induction into the Grand Ole Opry on September 18, 2018. He’s also been recognized with accolades from the ACM Awards, the CMT Music Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the iHeartRadio Music Awards .

Lynch added to his already impressive catalog with the release of his sixth studio album, Killed the Cowboy, in 2023. That album contains the #1 song “Chevrolet,” which features Jelly Roll.

Keeping things rolling into the Summer of 2025, Lynch released a brand-new song, “Easy To Love,” on Friday, May 30. While the track carries the easygoing air and lively tempo you’d expect from a summer song, its lyrics are surprisingly deep and personal.

“Easy To Love” Flips The Concept Of A Summer Jam

“Easy To Love” flips the meaning of its title in its raw and honest lyrics. Lynch, who co-wrote the track, lays all his cards on the table, acknowledging that he’s anything but “easy to love.” He admits to being stubborn, restless, and too wild to stay in one place.

As he sings:

“This heart ain’t easy to love. It’s a little too cold, a little too stuck, a little too broke, a little too drunk.”

The lyrics are paired with the warm, groovy sounds of the guitar. Otherwise, the track features a relatively simple production, giving it a signature sense of “chill” that listeners often associate with summer songs.

“Easy To Love” is available now wherever you listen to music. Check it out here.
