The Sophomore Album From Ella Langley Is On The Way

Following the success of her debut album Hungover, Ella Langley announced that her second studio album, Dandelion, will be released on April 10th. Fellow country music star Miranda Lambert will serve as co-producer for the album, which contains 18 tracks. Langley explained the inspiration behind the name:

“Dandelions are masters of survival, surviving in even the harshest of environments. Often dismissed as a common weed, this unassuming plant carries a deeper symbolism of hope, healing, and resilience.”

Additionally, the Alabama native announced The Dandelion Tour in support of her forthcoming album. The tour will make sixteen stops around the country between May and August. Kameron Marlowe, Kaitlyn Butts, Dylan Marlowe, Gabriella Rose, and Laci Kaye Booth will join her as supporting artists.

Ella Langley Announces New Song “Be Her”

If an album, song, and tour announcement were not enough, Ella Langley announced that another new song is coming this Friday, February 13th. Titled “Be Her,” the lyrics begin:

“She drinks wine by the glass, not by the bottle,

She ain’t stuck on the past, ain’t worried about tomorrow.

She’s a lover, a mother, a sister, and wife,

She rolls over in the morning to the love of her life.”

“Choosin’ Texas” Makes History

Ella Langley’s single “Choosin’ Texas” has been on a steady upward trajectory since its October release. It made history when it officially reached the number one spot on the Billboard 100 cross-genre chart on Monday, February 9th.

With this feat, Langley became the first woman to ever have a song hold the top spot on the US Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay, and Billboard 100 simultaneously. Additionally, she became one of the few female artists to reach number one on the Billboard 100 with a country song.
