Ella Langley’s Sophomore Album Is On The Way

Ella Langley found early success with her debut album, Hungover, released in August 2024. Upon release, it debuted at No. 77 on the Billboard 200 and No. 11 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Now, she hopes to build on that momentum with the release of her sophomore album, Dandelion, which is set to drop on April 10th. Miranda Lambert has served as co-producer for the record, which will contain 18 tracks.

Additionally, Langley will embark on the Dandelion Tour this summer in support of the new album. Artists Kameron Marlowe, Kaitlyn Butts, Dylan Marlowe, Gabriella Rose, and Laci Kaye Booth will join her for various dates on the run, which will make a total of 16 stops.

Langley and Lambert discovered their creative synergy with “Choosin’ Texas,” the breakthrough single that they co-wrote. Released in early October, the song debuted at #37 on the Billboard Hot 100. By February 9th, “Choosin’ Texas” had risen steadily and topped the all-genre chart.

With this feat, Ella Langley made history. The song became “the first by a woman to triple up at No. 1 on the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts,” according to Billboard. Additionally, it was the fastest-rising song at country radio this decade.

Ella Langley Confirms Duet With Major Country Artist

During a recent visit to Country Countdown USA, Langley confirmed that she has recorded a duet with 14-time CMA Award winner Keith Urban. The song will be included on the Dandelion album, some of which was recorded at Urban’s studio. She told host Lon Helton:

“Imagine you’re me, and you get a text from Keith Urban. When he reached out, I said ‘Absolutely.’ We also finished up some of this album at his studio. One day, he was just there sitting on the couch, just hanging out. He just sat there and listened. It was really cool.”
