Ella Langley Showcases New Tattoo, Fires Back At Fan Criticizing Her Decision
“Choosin’ Texas” singer Ella Langley ended up choosin’ a new tattoo to cover an old one on her arm.
Langley took her fans along for the ride on her Instagram Story on Tuesday (February 17) while she got her new piece of ink from tattoo artist A.J. Lingerfeldt. He helped her cover a tequila shot glass and lime she had done some time ago.
Langley opted to cover the shot glass with a more personal piece of ink. Lingerfeldt tattooed a large pair of flowers (that look like roses) over the shot glass. Then, below the larger flowers, he tattooed a single dandelion in its fluffy seed form.
The dandelion is, of course, a reference to Langley’s upcoming sophomore studio album, Dandelion. Clearly, the project means so much to Langley that she wants a permanent reminder of it tattooed on her body.

While many fans loved seeing Ella Langley get a new tattoo, one Facebook user named “Steve” criticized her decision. Steve said that Langley would soon have a sleeve at this rate (which he didn’t consider a good thing).
Langley shared a priceless response to his critique in a video she posted on her Instagram Story. She said, “I will get one on my eyeball Steve. I will get one on my eyeball.“
Clearly, Langley loves her new tattoo, and she’s standing by it!
The New Album, Dandelion, Will Be Released On April 10
Ella Langley got her new dandelion tattoo just a little over a month before her Dandelion album will be released. The record, co-produced by Langley, Miranda Lambert, and Ben West, will drop on April 10.
Langley will support Dandelion with an accompanying tour. The trek starts on May 7 in Toledo, Ohio. After performing 16 dates in total, Langley will wrap up the venture on August 15 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Langley has already released a few songs from Dandelion, including the title track and the Hot 100 chart-topping hit, “Choosin’ Texas.” She shared another new song, “Be Her,” on February 13. You can enjoy the official music video for that song below.
