The 12th annual Stand Up For Heroes event took place in November 2018 to honor war veterans everywhere. The purpose behind the event heavily impacts our veterans and their families. With more than 46,000 nonprofits involved that help to fund and create programs for them, they are able to get back on their feet. Every year, the amazing event pulls together artists and celebrities to perform and speak. This year the event invited several comedians and talk-show hosts including Jon Stewart and Seth Meyers. The audience got a real treat when two talented stars showed up.

Live at Madison Square Garden, Bruce Springsteen took the stage to honor Americans veterans. The icon performed several of his hit songs including “If I Should Fall Behind” and “Dancing In The Dark” where his wife, Patti came out to sing with him as well. There was one country star that hadn’t made his appearance yet but he just so happened to be a big fan of Springsteen. During his set, Eric Church came on stage to sing “Working On The Highway” with his long-time idol.

As Springsteen graciously welcomed Church to the stage, the two hugged before beginning their duet. The performance starts off with a guitar jam session from both artists. Springsteen leads the song by singing the first couple verses with Church following shortly after. Sharing the same microphone, the duo harmonizes the chorus together for one hell of a duet.
