FBI Releases Chilling Photos Of Possible Suspect In Nancy Guthrie Case
on Feb 10, 2026

More than a week after Nancy Guthrie went missing, photos and a video of a possible person of interest have been released.
Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie, is believed to have been abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home on February 1. An investigation involving local authorities, the FBI, Border Patrol, and numerous other agencies has been underway to find Guthrie.
On Tuesday (Feb. 10), the FBI released the first photos of a possible suspect in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
The photos, believed to be taken by a doorbell camera at Nancy’s front door, show an individual wearing a full-face ski mask, gloves, and a backpack, and carrying what appears to be a holstered weapon at his waist. It also appears that the subject has a flashlight in their mouth.
“Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of recording devices,” the post said. “The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems. Working with our partners – as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.”
The first video shows the subject attempting to cover up the camera with their hand and with brush they gathered from a flower bed in front of Guthrie’s home.
The second video is a brief clip filmed as the subject first approaches the residence. They seem to be slumped over in an attempt not to have their face on camera.
