In 2013, Colombian singer Shakira and R&B singer Usher joined The Voice for Season 4. It was the first change in coaches. which has now become a regular thing for the series. The first three seasons, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green stayed put in the now-iconic red chairs.

She returned for Season 6 and is still to this day a beloved member of The Voice family! She was a fiery addition to the show as a coach and we especially love when she performed with her fellow Voice coaches, like in the performance below when they all sang each other’s hit songs.

Since her Voice tenure, Shakira has released more music, had another baby, was the Super Bowl halftime performer with Jennifer Lopez, and just recently, was attacked by wild boars in a Barcelona park.

On her Instagram story, Shakira posted a video of her purse, which looked to be destroyed and very muddy. While speaking in Spanish, she explained that she and her eight-year-old son, Milan, were walking in the park when two wild boars approached them and attacked her. They took her purse and she ran after them.

Look how they left my bag, the two wild boars that attacked me in the park,” the singer said in Spanish. “They were taking my bag to the woods with my phone in it. They’ve destroyed everything.”

After Milan walked by in the video, Shakira said, “Milan tell the truth. Say how your mummy stood up to the wild boar!

She seems to have not been injured in the ordeal, but show scary!!!

Shakira shares two sons, eight-year-old Milan and six-year-old Sasha with FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique.
