Two Of Garth Brooks’ Radio Stations Go Off Air Indefinitely After TuneIn Partnership Ends

After a three-year partnership, Garth Brooks and TuneIn are parting ways.
In 2023, Brooks’ Seven Radio Network and TuneIn teamed up to launch three radio stations: The BIG 615, Tailgate Radio, and The Garth Channel.
He launched the three stations with different purposes, giving fans options depending on what they wanted to hear.
The BIG 615 served as a mainstream country station with a deeper playlist and more gender-balanced programming. Tailgate Radio offered a mix of party and tailgate anthems, while The Garth Channel was dedicated to his own music catalog.
After news broke that the two companies were ending their partnership, The Garth Channel and Tailgate Radio stopped broadcasting on Tuesday, Sept. 22. The BIG 615 will continue operating independently through the end of 2026.
Why Did Garth Brooks & TuneIn Dissolve Their Radio Partnership?
The exact reason for the partnership ending hasn’t been made public. However, the news comes less than a year after Stingray Group Inc. acquired TuneIn in December 2025.
“The Stingray family has been fantastic in the transition along with TuneIn’s people,” Brooks said in a press release. “We couldn’t be happier with the three years we have spent with them and wish them well on their future endeavors and hope we cross paths in the future.”
This does leave his future in radio a little unclear for fans, but more information about what’s next for him is expected to be shared soon.
In the meantime, Brooks is keeping busy with his Blame It All on My Roots arena tour. He’s been gradually revealing the cities he’ll be stopping in instead of releasing the full tour schedule all at once.
He’s also pricing every ticket at a flat $154 to make it more affordable for fans who want to see him live.
So far, Brooks has made stops in Indianapolis, Denver, and Washington, D.C. Coming up, he has shows scheduled in Orlando, Salt Lake City, and Tulsa.
There isn’t a confirmed number of tour stops yet, but plenty more are expected to be revealed in the next few weeks.
