Millions of people watched and were amazed by Chapel Hart’s audition for America’s Got Talent. The country trio auditioned with a performance of their feisty original song “You Can Have Him Jolene.” In addition to the viewers who watched on TV, over 7.5 million people have watched the group’s performance on YouTube.

The AGT judges also loved what they heard. All four judges and host Terry Crews united to give Chapel Hart the group golden buzzer. In doing so, they sent the trio straight to an advanced stage of the competition…the semifinals.

Their performance even caught Dolly Parton‘s attention:

What a fun new take on my song, @ChapelHartBand !” Parton said. “Carl’s birthday is today so I think I’ll hang on to him, and I’m not notifying Jolene that today is his birthday…#AGT

After weeks of waiting, Chapel Hart made their highly anticipated return to AGT on Tuesday night (August 16). They performed another original song, titled “The Girls Are Back In Town.”

The trio delivered a red-hot performance with accompanying dance moves. They ended with a literal mic drop moment, and the crowd rose to its feet to give them a standing ovation.

This performance proved why Chapel Hart was deserving of the AGT judges’ group golden buzzer. They brought down the house!
