Even though the show aired from 1985-1992, the sitcom The Golden Girls is still as popular as ever!

Starring Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty, the show follows four older, single women who all share a home in Miami, Florida and the hysterical hijinks they all get themselves in. All four actresses won Emmy Awards for their work on the sitcom, while the series won two Emmys for Outstanding Comedy Series and three Golden Globes for Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy.

One Person…Maybe Two People Who Will Be Attending

We all probably know a big Golden Girls fan in our life, but we don’t know a bigger one than Caroline Bryan, Luke Bryan‘s wife.

Caroline isn’t the only Golden Girls fan in the country music world. back in 2012, Blake Shelton revealed that his pre-show rituals included drinking vodka, eating fried food, and watching The Golden Girls.

He also talked about his love for the show on his 2016 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and that his favorite Golden Girl is Dorothy, played by Bea Arthur, because of her sarcasm.

Maybe Shelton will go on the cruise with the Bryans!

Last season on The Voice, Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and Adam Levine randomly started singing The Golden Girls theme song “Thank You For Being A Friend” in between auditions. Watch it below!
