“We all know how massive an event the Super Bowl is, and I am so honored I get to be a part of it and perform at the Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate,” Stefani said in a statement. “Can’t wait to see you all in Vegas!”

In the span of a 50-minute performance, Stefani wowed the audience with renditions of her chart-topping songs, such as “The Sweet Escape,” while also treating fans to a few of her latest tracks, including “True Babe.”

However, a standout moment of the event occurred when Stefani invited her husband, Blake Shelton, to join her for a memorable duet.

The power couple took the stage to deliver a stellar performance of their latest duet, “Purple Irises.” Stefani and Shelton unveiled this heartfelt love song on Friday, February 9, marking their sixth duet together.

Stefani wrote “Purple Irises” while exploring new musical paths, drawing inspiration from shared pandemic experiences on the couples’ ranch. It struck a chord with Shelton immediately when he first listened to it. Despite their differing styles, Blake and Gwen both felt drawn to the song, sparking their impromptu duet.
