Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani had been together for nearly five years when Blake proposed on October 17, 2020. The couple kept the news secret before they finally announced their engagement on October 27, 2020.

Until recently, this picture was the only snapshot fans got to see from the day Shelton popped the question. But in honor of their one-year engagement anniversary, Stefani shared two never-before-seen videos and one photo from that happy day.

one year ago today?! October 17th 2020 we got engaged! @blakeshelton I love you! gx” Stefani captioned the videos and picture.

The first video in Stefani’s slideshow shows her and Shelton after the proposal. Shelton was dancing around in the background while Stefani held up her newly adorned ring finger and exclaimed, “Look we just got engaged!

Then the next slide is a photo of Stefani covering her face in surprise. We can assume this photo was taken shortly after Shelton asked her to be his wife.

The third and final slide in the slideshow is a short video closeup of Stefani’s engagement ring. It’s stunning!

Check out Stefani’s post about the one-year anniversary of her and Shelton’s engagement below. The couple was only engaged for nine months before they married on July 3, 2021, so now they’re husband and wife!
