Last month, Gwen Stefani kicked off her Just a Girl residency at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. In true Vegas style, all of Stefani’s costumes for the show are over the top and as glamorous as can be.

All of the costumes capture Stefani’s signature sense of style, featuring fun prints and elaborate pieces. Just check out this ensemble as an example, which she accented with knee-high boots.

But the one costume that has the most people talking is one that actually offers a nod to someone else’s style.

During opening night of the show, everyone was surprised to see Stefani stroll out on stage wearing a sparkly cowgirl outfit. Complete with glittery fringe and embroidery, the outfit is the perfect blend of Western and Vegas styles.

The outfit was quite the hit with Stefani’s boyfriend of well over two years, Blake Shelton. As one of country music’s leading stars, she was surely hopeful that he’d like the getup.

And based on his reaction, it seems that he did! A clip from the opening night concert shows Stefani in the outfit as she stands in front of Shelton, who of course was watching from the front of the audience.

You don’t know what it’s like to be able to, like, wear a cowgirl costume in front of Blake Shelton,” she said.

Shelton’s response to that was to pump his fist in the air triumphantly. It’s clear that the costume was a hit with him!

You can see how Shelton reacted to his first look at Stefani’s cowgirl getup when you watch her interview with Entertainment Tonight below. We think it’s obvious which one of her Vegas costumes is his favorite!
